Peter Penisio
– Director
A New Zealand-born Samoan, Peter was raised in Auckland, attending St Peters College, a School known for building men of character. He went on to studying Business, Finance and Accounting at Unitec. He worked in the corporate finance and accounting sector for 15 years before his desire to genuinely make a difference in the lives of others led him to the recruitment industry.
After a few years working with Fortune 500 companies around the world, Peter took the opportunity to establish Draft NZ in 2016.
Aspiring to meet the needs of each job seeker and employer as well as the wider Pacific and Māori community, he has never looked back. Peter’s passion for people and for getting outstanding results has earned the loyalty of many clients across blue and white collar industries.
As a special bonus, he also gets to spend more time with Racey and their three boys.

With a background in sales and administration, Racey provides guidance and market insights to keep the Draft NZ team informed and performing at their best. Passionate about her family and her South Auckland community, Racey is involved in several community initiatives as well as being a pillar of support for Peter and the team.
Known for going the extra mile, she ensures a warm welcome for job seekers and employers, and a safe pair of hands for any challenging project. An excellent public speaker, Racey also represents Draft NZ at conferences and in public forums.
